- 1 1/2 Ounce absinthe
- To fill sprite
- 1 maraschino cherry
- Half full ice cubes
Instructions
Fill a large rocks glass halfway with ice cubes. Add Absinthe, then slowly pour sprite to fill. It will float over the absinthe. Gently stir until just a narrow layer of clear absinthe is visible in the bottom of the glass. Drop in the cherry.
Absinthe is available in many of the states now. It's expensive, but strong enough to go a long way. The Mad Fairy is a refreshing, easy introduction to this distinctive liquor.
