Dirty Martini
6 ingredients
Ingredients
- 1 measure gin
- splash dry vermouth
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 pimento stuffed olive
- splash olive juice
- 1 large ice cubes
Instructions
Cut a slice off the clove of garlic and rub freshly cut edge around the rim of a chilled martini glass.
Gently pour the Gin and Vermouth into a highball containing the ice and stir *slowly* for 30 seconds.
Hold ice in glass bottom with stirrer and pour into martini glass.
Take a pimento stuffed green olive from the jar with a teaspoon, (also allowing the spoon to fill with brine from the jar), submerge and place olive carefully into bottom of Martini allowing brine to disperse.
Alternative; the Dirty Mexican Martini...
As above except after rubbing the martini glass rim with garlic, up-end the glass and quickly dip in table salt. Instead of a pimento stuffed olive, use a piri-piri (whole small chilli) stuffed olive.
Finally, drink and appreciate the fine art of a true martini!
